This heath honey is collected from the sunshining hills of Cévennes.

The origin (Lozère) and the quality of this product is certified by Guy Steininger.

Characteristics:

  • Dark brown slightly red.
  • Very thick syrupy consistence.
  • Very strong scent.
  • Strong taste of caramel, slightly bitter.
  • Very rich with minerals.

A very particular honey in great request and often used to make spicy bread and gives it a special flavor.

Specific features:

  • Anti-anaemia.
  • Diuretic and urinary chords antiseptic.
  • Remineralizing and dynamogenic.

More indications:

  • Some types of anaemia.
  • Urinary affection in general, and use in diet for severe kidney deficiency.
  • Deminiralization (particularly for old people affected by osteoporosis) and asthenia in general (specially medical and surgical recovery and also tiredness senescence) 

Cooking advices:

To taste with spicy slice bread. The Heath Honey goes well with all sweet-salted cooking recipes.
